Our tour begins from the Long Beach where we embark the ship and head to the river Bojana, natural border between Montenegro and Albania. We sail along the 13 km long beach to the part where the river flows into the sea. At the very mouth of the river, you will see an island “Ada Bojana” unique in its origin. The river has formed it by precipitation of sand around the ship sunken more than 150 years ago. Today’s island covers the area of 4.8km2 mostly untouched natures. One of the highlights you will see on the river are the “Kalimera“ cottages which are still used by local fishermen. We will stop at one of them to taste some of the local specialties, as it is a mixed plate of fish caught from both, the river and the sea. After the lunch we will return to hotel.
