One of the advantages of such a small country as Montenegro is the possibility to escape from the coast and discover its mountains and untouched nature in just one day. On this trip, we take you to the inland of Montenegro with beautiful green mountains, rivers and canyons. We drive up the mountain enjoying the view of the coast, we pass the capital, Podgorica and through the breathtaking Morača river canyon. We visit the Morača Monastery, a monument of exceptional importance that dates to the 13th century. Continuing our journey over the picturesque mountains, we reach one of the cleanest rivers in Europe, the Tara. Its canyon is the second deepest in the world, after Colorado. We continue our panoramic drive up to the Durmitor National Park and to the famous Đurđevića Tara Bridge, high on the river, where we take a photo break and a short walk. We continue our journey via Žabljak, a town located at 1456 m above sea level and where we visit one of its most beautiful and famous lakes, the famous Black Lake.
